Cakes entered in the Expo WILL NOT BE JUDGED.

The purpose of the Expo is to give cake artists (especially those locally) a chance to self-promote as well as “strut their stuff” in a non-competitive arena.

Expo entrants may show as many cakes as they wish provided that they fit in the table space allotted. Expo table space will be available to purchase in 2’, 4’, and 6’ sections.

2’ - $50.00 (includes 1 Cake Battle ticket)

4’ - $75.00 (includes 1 Cake Battle ticket)

6’ - $100.00 - full table (includes 2 Cake Battle tickets)

Additional discounted Cake Battle tickets available to purchase thru online registration.

Cake Battle tickets will be available for pick-up upon set-up

of display(s).

Design a cake based on Kansas City highlighting KC’s historical past, present day, or your interpretation of what KC’s future might be like. OR combine all 3 time periods into one showpiece.

Entry fee: $30.00

(includes 1 $40 Cake Battle ticket)

Additional discounted Cake Battle tickets available to purchase when you register online.

If they so choose, Expo entrants will also be allowed to promote themselves and/or their businesses and permitted to display promotional materials such as business cards, flyers, photo albums, etc. However, space does not permit expo spaces to be manned. If you feel the need to be present and would like to meet people face to face in order to promote your business, then a vendor space would be a better choice for you.

When compared to typical entry fees for an average bridal show, entering the EXPO is a great bargain!

Entrants will be given details about a fictional celebrity couple (Rock musician Axel, and Chloe, an Academy Award-winning actress) for whom they will be designing a personalized wedding cake. See the “RULES” link for more info.

Each entry in the Wedding Cake Competition will be displayed on an individual round table. Table dressing is optional. Each table will be provided with a standard tablecloth.

Entry fee: $60.00 (Includes one $40 Cake Battle Ticket)
